Effective date: November 4, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to cash4junkvehicles.ca, quotes and vehicle purchases arranged with Cash 4 Junk Vehicles (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using the website, requesting a quote or selling us a vehicle, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the website or our services.
1. Our Services
We buy and remove junk, scrap, damaged, hail damaged and non-running cars, pickups, SUVs and vans in Edmonton and surrounding Alberta communities. Website descriptions are general. Availability, pickup times and service areas vary, and we may decline to quote or purchase a vehicle.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to request a quote or sell us a vehicle. If acting for a person, estate or business, you confirm you have authority.
3. Quotes
Quotes rely on the details and photos you provide, including condition, completeness and location, and on market conditions. If a vehicle differs materially at pickup, including undisclosed missing engine, transmission, wheels or catalytic converter, or undisclosed damage, we may revise or withdraw an offer. The driver explains any change before loading; you may decline it.
A quote is not binding until both parties sign the bill of sale and you are paid. Quotes may have a stated time limit because metal and parts prices change. Requesting a quote never obliges you to sell.
4. Your Responsibilities as Seller
You confirm you own the vehicle or are authorized to sell it; it is not stolen or subject to an undisclosed lien, loan, lease or claim; your description is true and complete to the best of your knowledge; and you will provide registration, photo ID and other reasonable proof of ownership or authority. We may refuse a purchase if these cannot be confirmed, and may report suspected theft or fraud.
5. Pickup and Towing
Towing is free for vehicles we purchase and is not deducted from the agreed price. Give safe, lawful access at the agreed time and tell us about clearance limits, gates, soft ground or other obstacles. If the vehicle is in a space you do not control, you must obtain removal permission.
We may reschedule if access, seller presence or documents are missing. We take reasonable care during removal, but are not responsible for pre-existing vehicle damage or minor normal wear to gravel, grass or snow from towing.
6. Personal Property
Remove belongings, documents, plates, garage openers, passes and electronic devices before pickup. After the sale and removal, items left in the vehicle may not be recoverable and we are not responsible for them.
7. Payment and Transfer of Ownership
We pay the agreed price at pickup before loading. Ownership and responsibility pass to us when both parties sign the bill of sale and payment is made. You remain responsible for cancelling or transferring registration and insurance afterward.
8. Vehicles We Do Not Buy
We do not buy farm machinery, heavy equipment, trailers, boats or vehicles carrying hazardous materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Tell us about mounted tanks, fuel containers, propane cylinders or chemicals. Our towing capacity is up to one-ton dually trucks.
9. Use of the Website
Use the website lawfully. Do not submit fraudulent information, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malware, overload it with automated tools or reuse its content commercially without permission.
10. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Website text, graphics, logos, images and design are owned by us or used with permission and protected by law. You may view and print pages for personal use. Other uses require our written consent.
11. Information Only
Our guides on bills of sale, write-offs and paperwork provide general information, not legal, financial or insurance advice. Confirm current rules with an authority, registry agent, insurer or qualified professional.
12. Third-Party Links
We may link to external sites, including government pages. We do not control their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
13. Disclaimer
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee it is error-free, complete, current or uninterrupted.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services. Our total liability for a claim related to a vehicle purchase is limited to the amount paid or payable for that vehicle. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from false information you provide, breach of these Terms or a third-party claim that you lacked authority to sell a vehicle.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes our handling of personal information and forms part of these Terms.
Read our Privacy Policy.
17. Governing Law
Alberta law and applicable federal Canadian law govern these Terms. Disputes will be resolved in Alberta courts.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version and effective date will appear here. Continued use of the website or services after an update means acceptance of the revised Terms.
